FOUR ON TRESCO

WATCH THE FILM HERE

In 2014, Tresco Island in the Isles of Scilly played host to Anthony's first public painting installation. Four large paintings were created in situ at four points around the island and then displayed on bespoke, rusted steel structures, remaining in place for over a year and a half.

The concept was realised out of the idea that paintings are very rarely exhibited in their outdoor environment in the very spot they were created, The continually shifting light and weather around the paintings created an involved and exciting way for the landscapes to be enjoyed and prompted visitors to stop and consider the landscape.
